Hong Kong Footwear Association has a history dated back to 1948. We have more than 300 members and are the most representative and influential footwear manufacturing body in Hong Kong. Our major goal is to serve the footwear industry and to protect and promote its’ benefits and interests.
Our Association has always paid close attention to the latest developing market trends as well as other circumstances that might affect our industry. We also actively encourage and assist our members to enhance their communication and understanding with footwear participants from across the globe to increase collaboration opportunities.

Since inception, our Association has steadily and continually upgraded and improved our services to keep in line with changes in the economy and the market environment. We therefore are better positioned to meet the needs of our members and the industry.

Over the last 20 years, our Association has organized numerous international exhibitions by collaborating with various major trade and exhibition organizers
(e.g. large-scale international exhibitions held in Dongguan, Guangzhong and Hong Kong that are renowned worldwide.)

Exceptional International Network:
Our Association is one of the founding members of the International Footwear Conference and has close links with footwear associations and
relevant organizations in Asia, Europe and the U.S. In addition, we are frequently invited to counsel on affairs
related to the footwear industry by official from local and overseas governments and officials from various provinces and cities in China.
Apart from promoting the Association and the industry, we also pay close attention to their updated investment opportunities and business regulations and laws, etc.

Hong Kong Footwear Association has been established for 60 years. Over this period our Association has continued to grown and strengthens thanks to the dedications of fellow Board and Association Members. Aside from being widely accepted, we are also the most representative and influential footwear manufacturing body in Hong Kong. In order to keep pace with developments and changes in Hong Kong’s footwear industry, our Association has adjusted and expanded our services to enable our members to better meet the changing market demands in order to grow and expand their business. Among others, solidarity has always been the most important factor in promoting a steady development as well as establishing a good business environment for the footwear industry in Hong Kong. In the face of stiff competition throughout the globe, we must join our forces together, and use our combined wisdom and strength to gain an edge over the competition.
The priority of Hong Kong Footwear Association has always been to serve our members. Member of an industry must identify with that industry and work together to establish the trade’s social status, protect the benefits and interests of that industry and promote cooperation among constituent enterprises. Permanent/Basic Member:
Registered company engaged in business related to footwear manufacturing or
related areas are welcome to apply to become Permanent or Basic Members of the Association.
Sponsoring Member:
Registered shops or companies in any line of business are welcome to apply to become Sponsoring Members of the Association.
They enjoy the same rights and benefits as Permanent and Basic Members but DO NOT
have the right to vote and stand for election.
Entry and Annual Fee for each Member Category:
The application procedure is very simple.
Simply complete, sign and seal the application form and mail it back to the Association Secretariat
with a photocopy of your local business registration document and a cheque for the membership fee captioned above.
After verification and approval by our Board of Directors, we will contact you regarding further arrangements.

Our Association plays an important role in protecting the interests of Hong Kong’s footwear industry, promoting trade development, and communication with the Government of China and Hong Kong. Since the 1980s, we have been invited to nominate representative to become appointed board member of the Textile and Clothing Training Board of the Vocational Council. The responsibilities of our delegate included discussions, research and submission of reports and opinions relating to industrial development to the government. Our Association also closely follow legislations and measures adopted in China, Hong Kong and abroad which involve or affect the footwear industry and then passes on the demands and opinions of the industry to the relevant government.
International Contacts and Network:
We are a founding member of "International Footwear Conference".
On behalf of Hong Kong, we organize delegation to attend their annual meeting,
where information is exchanged with representatives from other Asian, European and North American countries
and concrete efforts are made to study and expand the footwear market.
By maintaining close contact with the world’s footwear industry,
we are able to enhance our understanding of the latest business environment
and keep pace with international market trends in order to promote and expand development of the footwear industry.
Hong Kong Footwear Association was established on 1948. The majority of our members were manufacturers with their own manufacturing plant at Mainland China. We are devoted to promote the footwear industry and to protect the rights of our members.
